History

The Department of Marine Chemistry was created in 1401H (1981G) after conversion the Institute of Marine Sciences to the College of Marine Sciences. The faculty members have expanded after the demand of students to study marine chemistry curriculum.  Currently, the number of faculty members has reached 13, including academics staff and technicians.
